Jenna + Ben.

Jenna and Ben got married in Lamlash Church on the Isle of Arran then celebrated in the Douglas Hotel in Brodick. Arran is just stunning and so easy to get to from the mainland. I wish I could spend more time there! I sent Jenna and Ben some questions about their day and here are their answers:

Can you give us a brief rundown of your wedding day?:

We got married on the Isle of Arran, where I grew up, in the same church as my parents got married. We then kicked off the celebrations at the Douglas Hotel in Brodick with drinks out on the patio, followed by dinner, dancing, and some more partying until the early hours of the morning. We also managed to get all the Australians in Kilts which was amazing.

What do you remember most about your wedding day?:

The sun was shining and it was just amazing to have all our friends and family there with us to celebrate. Thank you, Scotland for turning on the nice weather and showing the Aussies how beautiful Arran is.

Why did you choose your wedding venue?:

It's a landmark hotel building on Arran that was refurbished a number of years ago by a new owner who grew up on Arran. Inside it's a lovely boutique hotel, small and special, with indoor and outdoor spaces to suit the weather.

What made you decide to have your wedding filmed?:

Having all our friends and family on the Isle of Arran in Scotland was such a one-off, special event for us - we wanted to capture every moment and have a great film to look back on in years to come. Seeing Robert's work helped us decide pretty quickly too!
