Suzanne + Guy.

Guy and Suzanne got married in the heart of Glasgow at the awesomely rustic wedding and gig venue, Old Fruit Market. I sent them some questions about their day and here are their answers:

Can you give us a brief rundown of your wedding day?:

It was a wet Saturday morning, the sun was just about to come out and it was Easter weekend. I’ll the nerves and last-minute worries all seemed to have disappeared during the night and it was a very calm start to the day.

What do you remember most about your wedding day?:

We remember our wedding day as being one of the best days we’ve had. What do we remember most? Probably the first dance, we had never heard it live or even heard our band play it so when the moment came, it was a great rush of adrenaline and relief.

Why did you choose your wedding venue?:

We choose the Old Fruit Market as our venue due to its long-standing connection to the city and its amazing character. It’s funny how long it has been in the center of the city and how few people have even seen or been inside. Suzanne and I both loved it when we went to view the space and the staff were just so accommodating and very clear about all the details.

What made you decide to have your wedding filmed?:

We knew there would be so much of the day we would never see, especially Suz as she would arrive after all the guests, even the other distractions that pull your attention away from the day we still wanted to capture. Having the day filmed allowed us to see the day through someone else’s eyes and allowed us to build a more complete memory of the day.
