Thank you so much for having me with you on your wedding day. From the moment I arrived in Edinburgh, I had a feeling this was going to be a special one.

Greyfriars Hall is such a stunning venue, the character of the converted church, paired with those incredible views of Edinburgh Castle and the city beyond, made it a truly beautiful place to get married. Being there on the 28th of December, with the Christmas lights still glowing and the festive atmosphere lingering in the city, added an extra layer of magic to the day. Filming in Edinburgh at Christmas time is always a pleasure, and your wedding felt like a perfect reflection of that seasonal warmth.

Murray and Morven were an absolute delight throughout the day, full of character and charm, and it was lovely to see them so involved and clearly enjoying themselves. Your friends and family were also so welcoming and friendly, which made the whole day feel relaxed, joyful, and genuinely fun to be part of.

I loved the seating plan with your favourite albums for each table, especially all the 90s indie bands. There were so many records I grew up loving myself, and it felt like such a personal and thoughtful touch that said so much about you both.

Most of all, I just want to say how comfortable you made me feel. I felt completely at ease around you both, which makes such a difference when filming and allows everything to flow naturally. It truly made my job a delight, and I’m so grateful for that.

Thank you again for trusting me to capture your wedding day. It was a genuine pleasure to be part of such a warm, joyful celebration, and I hope your films take you right back to those moments, the festive Edinburgh atmosphere, the laughter of your family and friends, and the love that was so clearly at the heart of your day.
