Honestly, what a wedding. A Scottish castle, that incredible Highland scenery, and two lovely people who made the whole day such a pleasure to film. It was a dream for me to be there.

You were both so warm and welcoming, and there was always a smile to catch. I felt at ease with you straight away, and that makes such a difference when I’m filming.

I can see why you chose Eilean Donan for your fairy-tale wedding. With the moody skies and those little glimpses of sunshine, it looked wonderful. And then, right on cue, the Scottish rain arrived just after the ceremony! You certainly got the full experience before heading over to Dornie Community Hall to celebrate.

But the thing I’ll remember most is how much love there was around you. Your family and friends had made this huge journey to be there, and watching everyone together, you could see just how much you both mean to them. There was so much warmth, laughter and happiness to capture.

Thank you for having me along and trusting me to make these films for you. I hope watching them takes you straight back to how it all felt, and lets you catch a few moments you might have missed along the way.
