Thank you, Grace & Hugh

From the relaxed preparations at Drumcarro Farm to the evening celebrations back at Hugh’s family home, Grace and Hugh’s wedding was such a joy to be part of from beginning to end.

The morning had such a lovely atmosphere, with Hugh getting ready in the farmhouse and Grace in the Owl House. It all felt calm, fun, and wonderfully unhurried, from the laughter during bridal preparations to the very relaxed feel of the groom’s morning, complete with a cheeky dram before the day properly began.

Their ceremony at Holy Trinity Church in St Andrews was so special. It’s such a beautiful building, and with the sunshine making the most of a perfect St Andrews day, everything felt even more magical. After the ceremony, heading back to Drumcarro Farm for the celebrations made the whole day feel so personal and intimate. There was something really special about everyone gathering to celebrate at Hugh’s family home; it gave the day such warmth and meaning.

The speeches were another real highlight. Hearing both fathers speak, alongside Grace, Hugh, and Bruce, made for such a heartfelt and memorable part of the day. It was a privilege to witness so many thoughtful words, so much love, and so many moments that had everyone laughing one minute and emotional the next.

As the evening went on, the celebrations only got better, with so much fun, energy, and dancing in the evening summer sun. It was one of those wedding days that felt full of warmth from start to finish; relaxed, joyful, and so clearly centred around the people who mean the most.

Thank you both for making me feel so welcome from the moment I arrived. You were such a lovely couple to spend the day with, and it was a real pleasure getting to know you, your families, and everyone who came to celebrate with you.
